Connection of the User Management System

The Cadenza users are managed outside of Cadenza, for example by an LDAP directory service such as Microsoft Active Directory or by an OIDC directory service such as Keycloak. As an interim solution, it is possible to manage users with Cadenza Desktop.

For test or demo purposes, it is possible to configure individual users with their access data in an XML file. In the delivered version, users are already configured in this way so that access to Cadenza is possible immediately.

Access to Cadenza can also be configured via single sign-on.

For all supported systems with which users are managed, the connection to Cadenza includes the following points:

  • Activation of the corresponding plugin

  • Adaptation of the corresponding configuration file

  • Definition of an authenticator
