Connection of an XML user administration for test purposes

You can store access data, user properties and assignment to Cadenza user groups in a configuration file for individual users.

This option is useful for test or demo purposes where a few sample users are regularly required.

Configuration and Prerequisites (Overview)

  • The plugin Embedded user management (AccessManager_Embedded) must be activated and the corresponding configuration file accessmanagerembedded-config.xml must be adapted.

  • In the accessmanager-config.xml file, the test user administration must be entered as the "Embedded" authenticator. Information on authenticators

If the test user administration is to be used as a group mapper (information on group mappers):

  • The test user administration must be entered in the accessmanager-config.xml file as a group mapper "Embedded".

<group> elements are required.

If the test user administration is to be used as a property mapper (Information on property mappers):

  • The test user administration must be entered in the accessmanager-config.xml file as property mapper "Embedded".

  • The <realName> and <email> elements must be configured.

Activate Plugin and Customize Configuration File

  • The plugin Embedded User Management (AccessManager_Embedded) must be activated.
