Further Configurations

You can optionally change some default settings:

  • whether the entered user name should be converted to lowercase or uppercase letters before authentication

  • when using the Cadenza desktop user management: when users are automatically locked, when they have to change their passwords and which rules apply to passwords

Handling the Spelling When Entering the User Name

By default, the spelling is taken into account when checking user names. However, if these are stored in the user management system in lower or upper case only, you can have the letters entered automatically converted to upper or lower case before authentication.

The corresponding accessmanager config must be adapted. See the accessmanager config reference for details.

Providing the User Print Name

Cadenza, by default, requests the user print names to show them in the UI. With <userPrintNameSuggestion> element it can be controlled for which provider the print names should be requested. The corresponding accessmanager config must be adapted. See the accessmanager config reference for details.
