Hardware

  • Processor

    • 64-bit x86 Architecture

    • Minimum

      • 4 CPU cores (per node) with 3 GHz base speed for each CPU core

      • AMD Zen 2 architecture or Intel Comet Lake architecture

    • Recommended

      • 6 CPU Cores (per node) with 3.5 GHz base speed for each CPU core

      • Server-Class AMD Zen 3 (or newer) architecture or Intel Alder Lake (or newer) architecture

  • Main memory

    • Minimum: 1 GB free RAM for Cadenza

    • Recommended: 4 GB — 64 GB, depending on the number of concurrent users and the complexity of the content

  • Disk space

    • Minimum: 4 GB free space

When operating in a Container or on Kubernetes

Operation in the container is only supported with the official Cadenza Docker image.

  • Host operating system: Linux

  • Container runtime environment: Docker Engine (tested with version 29, we only support officially maintained versions of Docker)

Cadenza can run on Kubernetes clusters and disy provides a standardised and documented way through our Helm chart. Please see Ways of Installing for more details on how to install Cadenza via container (Docker) or Kubernetes (k8s).

User Administration

Cadenza Workbooks requires user management and an authentication system in the infrastructure, e.g. Active Directory, LDAP or Keycloak with Open ID Connect.

PDF Reports

The report functionality uses the report generator (based on Chromium). When installing Cadenza using the ZIP file, it is included in the expected version. If you want to bring your own binaries, e.g. because you want to use a Selenium Grid, you need them in version 145.
